#PSA We’ve appointed Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) as the new testing provider for the following point-to-point vocational licences (VL) from 17 Aug 2026!
🚕 Taxi Driver’s Vocational Licence (TDVL)
🚗 Private Hire Car Driver’s Vocational Licence (PDVL)
🔁 Conversion of PDVL to TDVL (CTDVL)
The incumbent, Republic Polytechnic (RP), will cease to serve as a testing provider on 16 Sep 2026.
During the transition period, new VL applicants who have completed the required training may be directed to either RP or NYP for the first test. Your training provider will inform you accordingly.
Existing TDVL, PDVL and CTDVL applicants can continue to attend re-tests at RP until 27 Aug 2026. The last date to register for a re-test at RP is 21 Aug 2026. ➡️ More details: https://go.gov.sg/rp-lta
