Crystal Palace are closing in on a season-long loan for 18-year-old defender Honest Ahanor, with Chelsea holding a pre-agreed permanent transfer set for the summer of 2027. The fee is reported at around £40m, with the full package potentially reaching €48m.
Ahanor will spend the 2026–27 campaign at Palace before completing his move to Chelsea — a structure reportedly influenced by Premier League squad regulations. The Nigeria prospect is currently at Atalanta.
