Last night in Data-Entry Academy, I taught extensively about local freelancing and its massive opportunities, yet, less talked about.
Once anyone mentions freelancing, people are thinking about global platforms like Upwork and earning in dollars.
While there is nothing wrong in global freelancing, I just believe the competition is fierce and we seem to forget the huge needs of SMEs all around us locally within our country or even our continent, Africa.
I am a super successful product of local freelancing. Everyday, people reach out to me asking for help to do their bookkeeping. I stopped bookkeeping in 2022, yet, there I still get a ton of requests flowing in.
At Data-Entry Academy, our participants are able to sell their skills as local freelancers offering the following services:

Last night, I showed them the gold in local freelancing.
I showed them what skills they can sell.
I showed them examples of jobs our past participants have taken on and what they earned.
I taught them strategies to sell their freelancing skills locally.
I taught them how to elevate the business of simple services using elements like excellence and more.
I taught them how to choose a niche. You can niche down using software or industry or certain services or other criteria. I explained it all.
Finally, I taught them a 7-step process to follow in executing any job brilliantly. Its not enough to teach you how to find jobs, but I want you to exceptionally delight the client with the work result. So, we learnt how to do this.
