If you look at stablecoin flows, the lion's share of transfers today doesn't go through Ethereum. Traffic is confidently taken by Tron, BNB Chain, Base, and Arbitrum.
The reason is simple: fees. Nobody wants to pay $2 for a transaction when they can pay a few cents. There's no crypto-ideology here, just pure math. When it comes to your own money, pragmatism always wins.
