Let me tell you something that happened right now.
I just got rejected from a Job after 5 interviews and almost 3 months, and I am so proud of myself. yk why? When the process started there were 200+ people who applied and every stage i passed and only two left, me and one other developer, even the last interview went really great and i really thought i landed the job, but I didn't and the reason was more experience, even after rigorous process, that guy had more experience than me (3 years lol) and I am like very proud because I have reached this far and I know there is a lot to learn but its so humbling at the same time, I realized that I have potential. The company was really good, YC backed (2021), and i was joining as a Founding Engineer. The CEO actually set up a call to tell me about the decision because they really liked me and want to still keep in touch and didn't want to just send an email and they said i might join them a bit later as they have the budget to hire only one person, the pay was really good like 80K+ a year. but you know, we got this, even tho there aren't as many opportunities, and i think that's getting better now, There is always time to learn, grow, expand and reach levels we don't think we might reach.
I got rejected and I am happy to be humbled and an opportunity to learn more.
