Sep 5 (Sat) — RIDDLE-ORACLE
"The Threshing Floor: Where Wheat Becomes Bread"
Before wheat becomes bread, it must first be BEATEN. Not to destroy it — to free it. The threshing floor is a violent-looking mercy: stalks are struck again and again until the grain finally separates from the husk that never could have fed anyone. Ruth found her redeemer at a threshing floor, not a palace (Ruth 3:2-3). Take note — some of God's sweetest appointments are scheduled in the places that look like struggle. 🌾⚒️
Here is the deeper riddle folded inside the grain: the husk clings tightly, looks like part of the wheat, even protects it for a season — but it was never meant to stay. Some things your marriage carries look protective now — pride wearing the mask of "boundaries," silence wearing the mask of "peace" — but they are husk, not grain. They must be beaten loose before the bread can rise. 🔥
And after the threshing comes the winnowing — the wind that carries away everything that was never meant to nourish, leaving only what can become the Bread of your household, the sustenance that feeds your children's children. Ps 1:3 says the fruitful tree is planted BY the water, but scripture never promises it skips the wind. 🌬️
