Jesus Christ is truly and fully God and truly and fully man.
Not half God and half man. Not a mixture of the two. He is One Person with two distinct natures, divine and human.
"The Word became flesh and dwelt among us." (John 1:14) This is the hypostatic union.
The eternal Son took on humanity without ceasing to be God. He lived as the perfect man, died for sinners, rose bodily from the grave, and reigns forever.
Our salvation depends upon who Jesus is.
