Job Description – #Mechanical Engineer (Project Work) Position: Mechanical Engineer – Project Department: #SMS / #Blast Furnace Location: #Hazira, #Gujarat Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Experience: 5 – 10 Years Key Responsibilities Execute mechanical project activities for SMS/Blast Furnace area. Supervise installation, erection, alignment, and commissioning of mechanical equipment. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and site teams for project execution. Review mechanical drawings, layouts, and technical documents. Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within quality and safety standards. Prepare daily progress reports and project documentation. Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures and project requirements. Support shutdown and expansion project activities. Required Skills Experience in steel plant project execution. Knowledge of erection and commissioning activities. Understanding of pumps, pipelines, conveyors, structures, and rotating equipment.
