About the Role
Betgr8 is seeking a motivated Retail Officer to support retail growth and operations across Lagos — scouting, onboarding, and supporting shop agents to drive network growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Scout, engage, and onboard new agents and betting shops
* Identify suitable shop locations and assess proximity to existing shops
* Coordinate onboarding, training, and welcome packages for new agents
* Ensure agents receive shop betting accounts and complete required documentation
* Build relationships with agents and carry out regular shop visits
* Monitor agent performance and identify sales/network growth opportunities
* Support agents with trade assets and documentation
* Provide product, platform, and technical support (app installation, updates, navigation)
* Respond promptly to agent queries via chat, email, phone, or visits
* Conduct checks on betting patterns to identify fraud and support risk management
* Support in-house training and product updates
* Prepare reports on agent recruitment, sales performance, and network growth
Requirements
* Experience in sales, retail, field operations, or business development
* Fintech experience is an advantage
* Good communication and relationship management skills
* Target-driven and proactive
* Good knowledge of Lagos
* Good reporting and organisational skills
* Willingness to travel within Lagos
