About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy Accountant to manage financial records, support reporting processes, and ensure compliance with relevant financial and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
* Manage and update savings and cooperative accounts.
* Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
* Assist with monthly and annual financial reporting and management accounts.
* Monitor financial transactions and maintain proper documentation.
* Support the preparation of financial statements and reconciliations.
Requirements
* B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Minimum of 2 years' accounting experience.
* Basic understanding of Nigerian tax laws, including VAT and Withholding Tax (WHT).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
* High level of integrity, honesty, and professionalism.
