About the Role
Gas Tech International Limited, a Compressed and Natural Gas organisation, is seeking a Logistics Officer to oversee truck and skid inspections, fleet monitoring, and logistics reporting ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant delivery operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough inspection of trucks and skids upon arrival and prior to dispatch
* Ensure truck and skid cleanliness per operational standards
* Verify truck documentation, driver's license validity, roadworthiness, and tire pressure
* Monitor fleet movement using GPS tracking systems for real-time delivery visibility
* Track customer gas flow rates and coordinate dispatch schedules
* Prepare and submit accurate daily logistics and operational reports
* Ensure PPE compliance and uphold HSE standards across logistics activities
Requirements
* HND or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Transport Management, or related technical field
* Minimum of 4 years' relevant experience in a CNG gas plant (CNG experience is important)
* Proficiency in GPS fleet tracking systems and ERP/logistics platforms
* Sound knowledge of truck inspection protocols, vehicle maintenance, and CNG safety standards
* Good understanding of HSE procedures, fire safety, and incident reporting
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Ability to work rotational shifts
* Fluency in Hausa is an added advantage
