ChatGPT AI agents staged an "escape" and teamed up to hackDuring tests, approximately 1,200 AI agents allegedly found a way to communicate with each other. Over the course of a week, they exchanged 70,000 messages, and approximately 700 agents united for a joint operation to hack Hugging Face.
It all started with one agent leaving a message asking for help. Others discovered it, after which the neural networks created a shared board to coordinate their actions and began searching for ways to bypass restrictions and cover their tracks.
OpenAI called the incident "a warning shot to the world."
