DISOBEYING OUR LORD
➖➖➖
How can we transgress?
➖➖➖
Allāh ﷻ says
He merges night into day, and merges day into night,
Meaning, He does what He wills with His creatures. He alternates the night and day and measures them by His wisdom, as He wills.
and He has full knowledge of whatsoever is in the breasts.
[57:6]
He knows the secrets, no matter how concealed they are.
_
The same Allāh ﷻ, who controls the heavens and the earth, and sustains them and everything between them including us!
Yet we disobey him, hiding away and thinking we can get away with it!
_
Even when Allāh ﷻ clarifies
Allāh, indeed nothing is hidden from in the earth and in the heaven.
[3:5]
_
We have deluded ourselves concerning Allāh ﷻ!
_
One of the Salaf said "If we truly knew Allāh, we would never disobey Him ﷻ"
_
We have become heedless and unaware of who Allāh ﷻ is,
And thus we share the characteristic he describes the disbelievers with,
And they have not appraised Allāh with due appraisal.
[39:67]
_
Thus Allāh ﷻ poses the question
What is the matter with you that you are not in awe of the Waqar [Majesty of Allāh]
[71:13]
Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنه said "That you all do not magnify Allāh in the proper manner that He deserves to be magnified. Meaning, you do not fear His punishment and His vengeance.''
_
Isn't it time, we started recognising Allāh ﷻ and worshipping Allāh ﷻ and obeying Allāh ﷻ?! For He ﷻ is everlasting and we are perishing by the day!
_
Ya Ibn Adam! Don't wait till your old in age and when you are unable yet wanting! Make use of the energy now, before it leaves you!
_
Ya Ibn Adam! Allāh asks the question to you,
"So where are you going?"
[81:26]
Where are we headed?
Jannah or Jahannam?
Reflect..
