The boy does not allow us to say He lost his Vision, he corrects and tells people that he lost his eyesight
When asked why he answered that the true Vision is in the heart, from the light of the heart and Allāh ﷻ says in the Qur'an:
فَإِنَّهَا لَا تَعۡمَى ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرُ وَلَٰكِن تَعۡمَى ٱلۡقُلُوبُ ٱلَّتِي فِي ٱلصُّدُورِ
For indeed, it is not eyes that are blinded, but blinded are the hearts which are within the chest.
[22:46]
(Watch what he answered when asked if he feels sad that Allāh ﷻ took away his eyesight.)

Ibn Kathir رحمه الله writes regarding the above ayah "means, the blind person is not the one whose eyes cannot see, but rather the one who has no insight. Even if the physical eyes are sound, they still cannot learn the lesson"
_
Brothers and sisters, this blind boy became a Hafidh Al Qur'an and obtained a Sanad in Hafs from his teacher by the age of 12!

His heart is filled with Qur'an, the young boy is content with no eyesight and a soft heart with Noor Al Qur'an!
_
And how many among us look at the Dusty Mushaf on our shelf with a hard heart, unable to pick it up!
_
The reason I bring this to your attention is to show you,
That wallahi, the contentment in the sweetness of Imaan is simply the best!
You wouldn't trade your one eye for money,
Yet this boy is happy with his blindness!
_
We are missing out on this contentment because we don't seek the pleasure of Allāh ﷻ nor do we live by what he commanded... Of course our lives will feel incomplete!
_
Learn lessons from this young boy!
Anyone can learn Qur'an!
Allāh ﷻ says
وَلَقَدۡ يَسَّرۡنَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ لِلذِّكۡرِ فَهَلۡ مِن مُّدَّكِرٖ
And We have certainly made the Qur'an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?
[54:22]
All it needs is effort!

Only by the Qur'an and the obedience of Allāh ﷻ can a person be truly happy...
As Allāh ﷻ says
أَلَا بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ
Surely in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.
[13:28]
_
And the best and most rewarding Dhikr is recitation and contemplation upon the Qur'an, bringing one closer in rank to Allāh ﷻ through obedience and steadfastness.
_
May Allāh ﷻ make us among the people of the Qur'an and make us among his thankful slaves.
آمِيْن يَارَبَّ الْعَالَمِينْ
