Interview Academy Notes: post #452 — TG.ME

Recently a friend shared his interview experience at Amazon for the SDE 2 role. So, I'm sharing it here. I hope it helps! The recruiter reached out to him on LinkedIn, and just like other interviews, this also began with an Online Assessment. 📍 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱: In this round, he was asked 2 Leetcode Problems Medium-Hard level. → Recursion + Dynamic Programming (Memoization). He was also asked System Design questions, which were of high standard, such as: → Testing choice of DB, etc. After clearing this, he moved on to 3 On-site Rounds. 📍 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝟭 & 𝟮: 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺-𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗗𝗦𝗔: In this round, he was first asked behavioral questions and then technical questions like: → A BFS-based question medium level & 1 from Queues (Round 1). → A HashMap + LinkedList-based question hard level (Round 2). 📍 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝟯: 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱: The round began with a discussion on his project and the Amazon Leadership Principle. After this, he was asked to design “An e-commerce website” with multiple requirements to fulfill. . Overall, this round was a hard round. 📍 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝟰: 𝗕𝗮𝗿 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿: The round heavily focused on LLD & Leadership principles, and then, he was asked a DSA question related to Linked Lists, which can easily be solved by backtracking. 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁: Cleared all the rounds, and received the offer letter from Amazon. 🎉 Now, I know working professionals often find it difficult to maintain Consistency and prepare for technical interviews. So, if you’re also facing the same, I suggest getting help from Bosscoder Academy. You can prepare with them: https://bit.ly/3xiDSdJ
