Turn a photo into a video with AIUsers in the U.S. can now take a still image and describe what they want to happen using a conversational prompt. Meta's AI will then animate the image into a video clip based on those instructions.

Better project organizationYou can now long-press projects to reorder folders and prioritize videos you're currently working on, which should make larger content pipelines easier to manage.

Save your text and caption stylesFound a caption or text style you want to use again? Edits now lets you bookmark it directly from the project, making it easier to keep the same visual identity across multiple Reels.

Multiple versions and better templatesCreators can make several versions of the same project, build richer templates with overlays and lock specific clips in place. This is useful when testing different hooks, cuts or versions of the same Reel without rebuilding everything.

Search for audio by vibeAudio search is also becoming more natural. Instead of searching only by track, you can look for sounds based on moods like "chill" or "bossy", or interests such as fashion and travel.

With updates arriving almost weekly, Edits is gradually turning into a more complete production tool for Instagram creators, especially for people who regularly work with templates and recurring Reel formats.
