🔓 $320M vanishes, hackers call themselves heroes
Liquid Network, Blockstream's Bitcoin sidechain used by major exchanges, just got drained for 4000 BTC. The attackers say they're white hats and plan to return most of it once the Elements vulnerability is patched. Exchanges have frozen LBTC deposits and withdrawals while everyone waits to see if that promise holds. A $320M exploit dressed up as a favor is still a $320M exploit.
Trust nothing that requires a hacker's word as collateral.
