WHAT IS MAN?
"What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?" Psa. 8:4
Psalm 8 asks the question. Genesis tells us that mankind was created in God's image. Sin tells us how humanity fell. Psalm 8 reminds us of humanity's intended glory.
Hebrews 2 points us to Jesus.
And Jesus shows us the answer. “But we see Jesus…” — Heb. 2:9.
- Jesus is the perfect Man.
- The obedient Son.
- The Last Adam.
- The One crowned with glory and honour.
- The One to whom all things will ultimately be subjected.
Look at humanity—and you see the purpose. Look at Jesus—and you see the fulfillment. Jesus Christ: The Man Who Fulfills God's Purpose.
