Punjab’s FY25 GSDP per capita was around ₹2.5 lakh, compared with ₹1.7 lakh for Madhya Pradesh and ₹1.2 lakh for Uttar Pradesh.
The gap highlights differences in economic output per person across states. GSDP per capita, however, is not the same as average income.
