2026 ASEAN-Korea Young Scholar Research Grant
The Korean Association of Southeast Asian Studies (KASEAS) is pleased to announce the 2026 ASEAN-Korea Young Scholar Research Grant (YSRG). This grant supports postgraduate researchers from ASEAN Member States and the Republic of Korea as part of the ASEAN-Korea Platform for Great Minds (AKPGM) project supported by the Government of the Republic of Korea through the ASEAN-Korea Cooperation Fund (AKCF).
Grant Benefits:
- Round-trip international airfare for approved fieldwork
- A monthly fieldwork stipend (USD 1400) for up to 3 months
- Honoraria (USD 200) for local research advisors
- Participation in the Young Scholar Research Workshop
Applicants must:
1. Be nationals of an ASEAN Member State or the Republic of Korea.
2. Be currently enrolled in a Master’s or doctoral programme at a recognized institution in ASEAN or the Republic of Korea.
