The Israel Defense Forces said on Thursday that it had killed two Hamas terrorists in separate Gaza strikes a day earlier, including Muhammad Abd al-Aziz Muhammad Nagar, whom the military said infiltrated the Jewish state during the Hamas-led Oct. 7, 2023, massacre.
Nagar was killed in the southern Gaza Strip. Palestinian outlets described him after his death as a "journalist," but the IDF said those accounts omitted his membership in Hamas’s military wing.
In a separate strike in the Gaza City area, the IDF said it killed Ammar Mahmoud Muhammad Sharafi, a Hamas platoon commander.
The IDF said both terrorists had recently advanced attacks against Israeli troops and Israeli civilians and worked to rebuild Hamas capabilities in violation of the ceasefire.
