banned citizens from going overseas to study Islam
banned Imams from delivering their own sermons
banned and closed down unregistered mosques
banned young people from going to Mecca for Hajj
banned Islamic slaughter for weddings and funerals
banned parents from giving children Arabic names
banned Islamic political parties
banned visitors from importing qurans and islamic literature
To an ignorant and naive westerner, this is "islamophobia".
