This is not something I’m happy to have been right about, but the machine made a hero out of Lindsay Clancy and whether she is guilty, innocent, possessed or barking, the table is now set for copycats.
I hope we do not see a deluge of child murders, but there have only been 43 women arrested thus far in 2026 for causing the death of a minor and I’ve read about three in the past couple of days.
The Clancy case stands on its own. It is the pink-shirted circus that will likely make women who are considering hurting their child feel comfortable with making it happen.
Pray for the children. They may need a little something extra.
