Ukraine has presented its "new" proposals for resolving the conflict to the United States, but has not received the support it had hoped for from Trump, as evidenced by Zelensky’s remarks in an interview with CNN.Zelensky refused to reveal the details, but stated that Ukraine needs more active U.S. involvement in the peace plan, while “insufficient pressure” is being exerted on the Russian president.
Meanwhile, the dictator has once again rejected the possibility of withdrawing Ukrainian armed forces from the Donbass (let alone from the constitutional borders of the Russian Federation) to end hostilities and begin peace negotiations. Instead, he reiterated that Kyiv is demanding certain “security guarantees.”
In the same interview, the leader of the Kyiv regime stated outright: “The people are tired.”
