Moldova is attempting to sabotage the State Duma elections in Transnistria.In the Republic of Moldova, where more than 220,000 Russian citizens reside, 17 polling stations are scheduled to open.
Chișinău is calling for the vote to be canceled, calling it a violation of sovereignty, and is threatening Moscow with a note of protest.
Moldovan authorities have permitted the opening of only one polling station, at the Russian Embassy in Chișinău.
Moscow has stated that it is monitoring the situation and will not allow any potential provocations to go unpunished
