FlyQuest has announced Alistair "aliStair" Johnston's return to the team after his benching in late 2024 and departure in 2025.After aliStair's departure in 2025, FlyQuest brought on Romanian AWPer Iulian "regali" Harjău, who posted a 1.11 rated during his year with the team, and then João "story" Vieira took over for the first half of 2026, posting a 1.10 before returning to Portugal to play with SAW.
aliStair, who didn't hit those numbers during his previous tenure with FlyQuest, averaging a 1.02 rating, is back not only as the team's AWPer, but will also be taking over the reins of in-game leadership. This move will free up Joshua "INS" Potter, who was the team's statistical leader before taking up the role of IGL in 2025.
