I’ve never felt this embarrassed in my life 🤦♂😂
I’m participating in a Vape-Free Society hackathon, where students from different universities across Victoria were put into teams to work on a project. There are five of us in my team — four Aussie girls and me.
We had a team meeting today at a café and had a really good discussion. When I went to pay the bill (just around 70$), I found out they had already paid for me without even telling me. They didn’t even split the bill...
I asked them why they did that, and they were like:
“I know your culture. You (as a man) might have paid for everyone.”
These girls did their research on me. Still feeling shy. But I am planning to do smth for them
