The vessel was seized on August 31 at the request of 🇺🇦 Ukraine’s Naftogaz as part of the company’s efforts to obtain compensation for assets lost in Crimea in 2014.
🇷🇺 Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova called the move “piracy and lawlessness” and said Russia would respond accordingly.
