-The Russian military’s bridgehead west of the Zherebets River, which was utilized by Russian forces to put pressure on Lyman from the north along with threatening Ukrainian formations with encirclement east of the Oskil River, has been completely eliminated by the Ukrainian military.
Over recent weeks as the AFU was conducting their pincer movements toward the village of Kolodyazi the Russian military withdrew their forces from the pocket north of Lyman, evading the what would be the encirclement of a couple hundred Russian personnel. As a result of the Russian military’s withdrawal back towards the Zherebets River Ukrainian forces have recaptured the villages of Drobysheve, Novoselivka, Derylove, Shandryholove, Serednje, and Zelena Dolyna, fighting for the village of Kolodyazi continues.@GeoPWatch
