Genomics UA: post #261 — TG.ME

Unlock infinite possibilities in research combining proteomics, genetic epidemiology and more 💫

We are pleased to welcome Professor Marc Vaudel for a lecture on his cutting-edge research.

🤱Vaudel’s group integrates omics and phenotype data to study the emergence and progression of pediatric diabetes, as well as how symptoms in early pregnancy can inform later health outcomes for both parents and children.

Interested in learning how? This is what awaits you in the lecture:
Recent advances in biomedical proteomics make it possible to tailor analyses to the genetic makeup of individuals. This approach is for example used in cancer research to track the effect of somatic or structural variation. In this presentation, I will show how our research group extends these approaches to germline common variation, with the aim of better integrating proteomics in genetic epidemiology studies.
