Ai is still at a very early stage and it has not really proven yet that it can make justice more equal.
If we are talking about handing only specific, well defined parts of the process to ai then the answer might be easier but if we are talking about ai eventually handling the whole decision making and justice process, I’d rather not make a judgment yet.
To be honest I'd prefer to wait and see the first real world results before saying it actually makes justice fairer or simply changes how decisions are made.
