Some users either don’t have the time or don’t know how to edit tags, so we’ve added the model below to make tag editing quick and easy.
• Quick Tag Editing
While editing a file’s tags, just send a text message:
• Set Title & Artist together
Send: Title - Artist
Example: Faded - Alan Walker
→ Title becomes “Faded”, Artist becomes “Alan Walker”
⚠️ The spaces around the dash are important.
Make sure to use Title - Artist with a space before and after the dash. If you write Title-Artist without spaces, the entire text will be saved as the Title.
• Set Title only
Just send the title with no dash:
Example: Faded
→ Title becomes “Faded” (Artist stays unchanged)
• Set specific tags
For full control, use key: value format (one per line)
Example:
Title: Faded
Artist: Alan Walker
Album: Different World
Year: 2018
Genre: Electronic
