Job Title: Full-time Front-End Developer (React Native, Node.js, React/Next.js)
Engagement: Full-time (fixed daily working hours required)
Location: Remote (MacBook or any macOS system required)
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native and backend services with Node.js.
Build and maintain responsive web applications using React and Next.js.
Employ modern software development techniques, best practices, and clean code principles.
Integrate GraphQL and RESTful APIs into front-end and mobile applications.
Collaborate closely with the team to manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Assist the operations team during production trials and resolve issues promptly.
Write maintainable, reusable, and efficient code following industry standards.
Ensure UI/UX best practices for both mobile-first and responsive web design.
Minimum Qualifications
1+ years of professional experience in software development.
Only candidates with proven experience in either React/Next.js or React Native will be considered (both is a plus).
Proven experience in backend development using Node.js.
Good knowledge of React and/or Next.js for web applications.
Strong understanding of ES6 and TypeScript fundamentals.
Proficiency in state management (e.g., Redux) and API integration (GraphQL, REST).
Strong understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development principles.
Good Git knowledge and experience with collaborative version control workflows.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
MacBook or macOS environment required for development work.
Immediate availability.
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Skills)
Experience creating and managing AWS resources using Terraform and GitHub Actions.
Knowledge of AWS services beyond Amplify (e.g., Lambda, S3, DynamoDB).
Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
Previous experience in startup or Agile development environments.
Ability to mentor or guide junior developers.
Additional Information
This is a fixed-term freelance role for approximately 3 months.
Candidate must commit to fixed daily working hours (either part-time or full-time).
Time zone alignment with the core team’s working hours is preferred.
