Salesforce posted an adjusted operating income of $3.87 billion for the second quarter, beating estimates of $3.81 billion. The company's adjusted earnings per share rose to $5.90 from $2.91 a year earlier. For the third quarter, Salesforce expects adjusted earnings per share between $3.42 and $3.44, above the estimated $3.39.
