LayerZero plans to launch ATLAS, a new crypto exchange built on the Zero blockchain. At launch, ATLAS is expected to support spot crypto and perpetual futures. Later, the plan is to add prediction contracts, futures and options.
But the bigger angle is not “LayerZero launches another trading app.” ATLAS is being positioned as backend infrastructure that exchanges, brokers and financial institutions can use while keeping their own interface and users.
This is worth watching because LayerZero is not only chasing end users here. They’re trying to sell exchange infrastructure to platforms that already have distribution.
For farmers, there is no direct action yet, but this is the kind of launch that can later create testnet tasks, early access, volume campaigns or ecosystem incentives around Zero.
ATLAS is planned for the end of the year, so good moment to put it on the radar before the whole timeline starts hunting “LayerZero exchange” activity 🌽
