Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent confirmed that $175 million in fraud payments were stopped, more than $100 million was returned to U.S. victims of overseas fraud, and $9 billion in Treasury contracts have been audited.
The announcement also noted that over $260 billion in total fraud has been uncovered under the Trump administration.
