Takeaways In the EU, we will soon begin training our AI models on the interactions that people have with AI at Meta, as well as public content shared by adults on Meta Products. This training will better support millions of people and businesses in Europe, by teaching our generative AI models to better understand and reflect their cultures, languages and history. People based in the EU who use our platforms can choose to object to their public data being used for training purposes. Today, we’re announcing our plans to train AI at Meta using public content —like public posts and comments— shared by adults on our products in the EU. People’s interactions with Meta AI – like questions and queries – will also be used to train and improve our models.
