🇷🇸🇪🇺 The European Commission says Ratko Mladić was not buried with state honors, despite a military guard of honor, the Serbian flag and the presence of several government ministers at his funeral in Belgrade.
“We heard that a funeral with state honors had been planned, but that did not happen,” European Commission spokesperson Paula Pinho said.
Asked how the Commission determined that it was not a state funeral given the involvement of state institutions and the military, Pinho replied: “It is for Serbia to decide how to organize the funeral.”
