🇺🇸 An unusual trend is emerging in the U.S. labor market: women accounted for 98% of the job growth in August, filling 158,000 of the 162,000 new positions.
Over the past year, the number of women in the workforce rose by more than 870,000, while the number of men fell by nearly 1.5 million. The healthcare sector, where more than 80% of workers are women, remained a key driver of job growth.
