— CAIR (Council On American Islamic Relations) is once again pressuring the Texas State Board of Education — this time demanding changes to proposed lessons dealing with jihad, Islamic conquest, warfare and other controversial parts of Islamic history.
Sen. Ted Cruz is urging Texas Republicans on the State Board of Education not to back down under political pressure.
Texas officials should NOT allow Islamic political or religious advocacy organizations to dictate which difficult or controversial aspects of Islamic history students are permitted to learn.
This is unacceptable and CAIR should be prosecuted.
