— The U.S. State Department’s Rewards for Justice program is offering up to $3 MILLION and possible relocation for information that helps disrupt the financial networks of Haiti’s Viv Ansanm and Gran Grif.
Both groups were officially designated by the United States as Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs) and Specially Designated Global Terrorists in May 2025.According to the State Department, the groups finance their operations through extortion, kidnapping-for-ransom, trafficking, hijacking and theft. Viv Ansanm has also been accused of mass killings, sexual violence and forced recruitment of children, while Gran Grif has carried out kidnappings, murders and attacks against Haitian and international security forces.The United States is specifically seeking information about their bank accounts, businesses, investments, donors, front companies, financial facilitators and transfers of money, weapons, ammunition or drones.
