Ethiopian Capital Market Authority (ECMA) has granted an Investment Bank license to D and T Ethiopia Management Consulting PLC (Deloitte), marking another significant development in Ethiopia’s growing capital market.
According to an announcement issued by ECMA, the license was granted following a rigorous assessment of the company’s application. D and T Ethiopia, which previously operated as a Securities Investment Advisor, is now authorized to provide non-brokerage investment banking services.
The new authorization will enable the firm to facilitate a range of investment banking activities, including support for mergers and corporate organizations.
