National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE) has approved Abduljuhad Hassen Muhammed as the new Chief Executive Officer of Shabelle Bank, marking a new leadership phase for one of Ethiopia’s growing interest-free banks. The approval follows Muhammed’s tenure as Acting Chief Executive Officer, a position he has held since November 2025.
