⚠️ A newly published academic paper is raising a fascinating—and somewhat unsettling—question about our growing dependence on artificial intelligence.
Researchers suggest that as AI chatbots become increasingly human-like, humans may actually begin adapting their own behavior to become more machine-like.
They call this emerging phenomenon “robotoid humanness.” The concern is that after repeated interactions with AI, people may gradually begin adopting the communication patterns, pacing, logic, and behaviors that machines understand best.
In other words, while we teach machines to communicate like humans, machines may simultaneously teach humans to communicate like machines.
