According to a new report, Paula White’s National Faith Advisory Board has announced a partnership promoting a September program called “Amen Whole 4,” led by Dr. Daniel Amen.
Why is this raising serious concerns? Dr. Amen has previously promoted meditation practices connected with Kirtan Kriya and has discussed forms of Tantra yoga in his writings.
The report also points to his past involvement with material dealing with tantric practices and his promotion of meditation involving repetitive mantra chanting.
This isn't simply about eating healthier, exercising, reducing stress, or improving mental health. Christians need to ask a much deeper question:
WHY are organizations representing Christian faith partnering with individuals and programs incorporating spiritual practices rooted outside biblical Christianity?
