S&P has upgraded the outlook on ratings for Freedom Holding Corp. and its subsidiaries, including Freedom Finance JSC and Freedom Bank Kazakhstan, from "stable" to "positive." Additionally, the agency raised the national ratings of Freedom Finance and Freedom Bank Kazakhstan from kzA- to kzA. Moody's assigned ratings to the group's insurance companies for the first time: Freedom Life received a Baa3 rating, and Freedom Insurance was rated Ba1, with Freedom Life becoming the first in the group to attain an investment-grade rating.
