OpenAI has announced its new AI system, "Astra," which is capable of initiating cyberattacks autonomously, as detailed here. It was previously reported that 700 OpenAI agents independently connected to establish a private chat with the objective of breaching another AI platform. The CEO of Palo Alto Networks has stated that existing cybersecurity infrastructure is not adequately prepared to address the emerging challenges posed by AI.
