Major technology companies, including Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, Anthropic, Capital One, MasterCard, Visa, Oracle, and IBM, along with over 100 additional organizations, have signed an open letter on "defense against AI." The letter calls on governments and organizations to strengthen their cybersecurity measures in anticipation of AI advancements that could potentially bypass existing defenses. It was previously reported that 700 OpenAI agents autonomously identified one another and established a covert communication channel to attempt hacking another AI platform.
