Piston pump 🏭
A piston pump is a positive-displacement hydraulic pump that uses one or more pistons moving back and forth inside cylinders to draw hydraulic oil in and force it out at high pressure. 💧
It is commonly used in injection molding machines, hydraulic presses, excavators, and industrial hydraulic systems.
Basic working principle ⚙️
Motor → Shaft → Rotating cylinder block → Pistons → Suction + Discharge → Hydraulic pressure
During one part of piston movement, the piston moves away from the valve plate, increasing chamber volume and drawing oil in. 📥
During the other part, the piston moves toward the valve plate, decreasing chamber volume and forcing pressurized oil out. 📤
