| Iran’s armed forces have reportedly prevented 30 vessels from making what authorities described as “unauthorized” passages through the Strait of Hormuz since August 22. Limited maritime traffic is being permitted through routes approved by Iran, subject to coordination and payment of fees. Mehr said traffic through the strait has fallen sharply compared with levels before the war. The report also rejected U.S. claims regarding mine-clearing operations and Iranian oil-export volumes, saying Washington has not provided evidence and accusing it of conducting an information campaign aimed at influencing global energy markets.
